Anyone going to buy this game when it comes for wii? I know is launching for most console on the 28th October, but not sure about wii version, I hoping it'll be the same. I'm pretty much forced to buy the wii version now, cause my ps2 guitar die only 2 days ago so sad. I lazy but another for that old console. I heard that for the wii guitar, you plug the remote into the guitar somehow so it can take advantage of the wii movement sensors and stuff (I think maybe just to turn on star power).
Anyway, I'm so excited about this game already, anyone else? Or all waiting for Rock Band? -.-

Om getting one too, hopefully from GH, else from PA. On the wiimote, it allows vibrate function which only Wii version haves.

Am i the only one who does not get GH 3, i mean, that game not so syiok lar.

Guitar Hero is fun if you have someone to play with.

Maybe Aiyish isn't into rhythm games..

The Wii version will have tilt function for star power, vibration for I dunno/forgot what, and the Wiimote speaker will have that 'error' sounds when you hit the wrong note.

RM360 .. (surprisingly, my 'predicted' price came true)

Can't remember if it's after discount, but yeah, it's RM360/370.

Fortunately, I am glad to report that my guitar has no problems whatsoever. I'm only let down by the graphics after gawking at GHII and GHIII for 360

But overall, the error-note sound and the vibration from the Wiimote is a nice touch, plus, white face plate is cool!

Will want to get another guitar, but will have to wait till Djinn brings in a standalone guitar, or we'll have to buy another copy of the game

does the GH3 have any problem on the sounds....... got forum complains only able to hear mono but not stereo

I've not experienced any major problems yet. Not even calibrating and sound lag issues.

But I can't verify the mono/stereo part because I only have 1 guitar, so no co-op testing for me yet.

But, as the internetz has reported, playing online with Wii version, it DOES have stereo sound(lead and bass on different speakers).

Haish what to do have to delay my rock star ambitions due to my EOJ purchase.

If you're gonna get 360, then I might have to suggest that you get the 360 version instead, it's much better in terms of everything, visually, sound, to the downloadable content in future(damn, one less friend to play with)

But.. if you're not getting a 360 anything time soon, then well! We can have some co-op sessions together. I don't mind the "going over to house" thingie either

God I suck at GH3.

I feel like a retard with no finger coordination when I play it (even on easy! Shameful, I know...). Looks like it's gonna take me WAAY longer to master than I thought it would...

GHIII has ramped up in difficulty. Some easy songs are quite hard.

@ signither: It's a good investment if you're into rhythm games(e.g. Ouendan, EBA, O2Jam).. Has about 70+ songs, that's way more music that EBA/Ouendan.. And, it's hella fun if you got a second guitar so can play co-op.

Right now I'm stuck at Lou's boss battle.. Gila sial

im play co-op with my friend...use wii remote...quite hard for combination yellow n red color...aaiii...medium level already...

After a coupla days of playing, I am getting better! Scoring an average of 4 stars on medium (which was what I was getting in GH2 using dualshock)...Have also managed to get all my siblings playing (sister, brother+wife) and everyone's having a blast!

Playing 2nd player with Wiimote is actually easy, but has it's own disadvantages. Easy because there's no strumming involved. But on the other hand like Paan mentioned, the assignment of the Red fret and Yellow fret (dpad right and A button respectively) are too close, and I only have one left thumb!

Nevertheless, have started co-op campaign with my brother with me using the Wiimote. Here's hoping we make it through...

Damn this game is fun! Money well spent.

just got my copy yesterday...bundled with wireless guitar. was expecting to buy for the xb360 platform, but no stock. can't wait much longer & since the wii version was selling at a cheaper price, decided to grab one.

almost finish the career mode....this is my first gh game that i've played, and have to say it is...FREAKING AWESOME. all the buzz & hoopla surrounding this game is well deserved. will join online once i've finish & get more practice...hehe

Do noe that in Co Op, one plays the guitar and the other bass. In other cases, one goes for Lead, the goes for rhythm.

If they had both playing guitars, it would also be cool though.

Bass can be kinda boring for some tracks. Dumb-downed as some says.

But I read there's no "rhythm" for GH3 Wii version

Rilly? thats an ouch. Some songs have the most challenging of bass notes. Some co op players might notice that Metallica's One is shifted on the 6th Setlist for the PS2 (Unsure about Wii.)

But Co Op is worth the unlocking of the extra encore songs. For those who are single players, look around for a cheat.

'One' is on the last tier for Wii, shouldn't be different across all platforms.

But I agree, having to play co-op for those extra Encore songs are kinda crappy considering one player has to use the damn Wiimote to play(since no second guitar). It's just NOT FUN.

But I did see those songs(like Reptillia) when I did online co-op with Chris. I was like = More songs??

The last resort, Unlock All Songs Cheat. And don't think that the last Encore Song, Devil Went To Georgia is the hardest. Wait till you feel Dragonforce's Through Fire and Flames.

Surprisingly, on my first go on TFAF before buying the game, I was wasted on the 360.

Then, my GF completed Easy, of course, I did all the boss battles and was then introduced to Easy TFAF.

Then, moments after that, I completed Medium, I processed the whole TFAF on Medium, wasn't TOO bad.

Just training myself for Hard now

it is the best among others music games that i had played before
sometimes i really feel myself like a guitarist of a rock band
but still in easy level, medium is difficult to me, cant play smoothly while i use four fingers, need to do practise more n more n more n more
