Conclusion, RainX + RainX additive

Why?
RainX - Just apply 10 min done, Glaco - Need to apply then wait 12 hours
Price wise: Rain X is still cheaper and can be applied more times. My last one lasted like 5 years? before finish

where you get 12 hours?

ya that's what i've done. and my rain X was since... err look back my early Iswara windscreen treatment/refurbishing work, application of Rain x. Maybe even more than 10 years ago.
i think that post was in detailing v2 thread?

i buy one bottle of rain x washer fluid additive every 1 to 1.5 ish years, for around RM20-30 ish...
the original rain X application same bottle been used for...ever. buy once and never needed to buy again lol.

i actually gotten another spray bottle (they tried to be innovative and have a spray gun lol) and have it spare in another state Melaka house location, that bottle is like 80-90% only used like... once or twice? since 2017 or 2018.
lol.

price vs performance is undisputed lol.

Glaco: After drying for 5-10 minutes, wipe it off with a dry, clean towel, afterward dry for more than 12 hours, in order to make the coating adhere firmly to the windshield. - Source: Shopee (YS Automart)

After 5-10 min still can drive, but need to wait 12 hours for it to properly cure.

Rain X just slimply apply only haha

same la
both also will dry in 5-10 minutes,
if fully cure will take hours

it is the same as waxing a car la
will dry and work within 5-10 minutes,
but fully cure will be hours.

very likely the chemistry of both product is the same, just brand name and packaging different only

Honest review of glaco,
Bought the glaco compound and repellent.

Pros
Works great and it last a longer time with some exposure to chemical degreaser, tree sap and etc.

Cons
Apparently it generate watermark easily compare to whatever off the shelf of Mr.DIY (My car is either under the tree or the sun with dusty enviroment)
Per application is costly.
I don't like how the bottle is, squeeze then spread. Either it come out too much or too little.
