What do u expect? Malay food culture is very weak and i dont say this with malice. U try eating malay food only for 1 month. By 2 weeks u will feel so muak with all the options and start looking for other food. And since malay choice is only limited to Malay and mamak, the next option is fast food aka mcd and kfc. This is why these 2 chains do so well in Malaysia and even beat Thailand eventhough Thailand has more population.

Thats why u see the boikot could only last for 2 weeks.

And before say its cinis, pls dont be silly. Cinis has the full menu of Malaysia. Cinis can eat cinis, indian and malay food. Even within cinis food itself, if u give a good mixed rice shop with good price can eat there for 3 months for lunch and dinner. That only mixed rice, not include other cinis food like pan mee, ckt, bkt etc...
