Hey guys,
We want to invite you from Malaysia to attend Gigabyte Overclocking Competition in Jakarta, Indonesia. The event will be held at 17th November 2007. If you guys wants to join in please inform me via PM or email at benny@ne.co.id
We hope you can join this competition.
Gigabyte Overclocking Championship Rules
Standard Hardware Configuration:
1. Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 2. Gigabyte GA-X38-DQ6 3. Gigabyte 8600GTS 4. 2 x 1GB DDR2 Kingston HyperX PC8500 5. Gigabyte ODIN Pro 800 watt / Odin GT 550 Watt 6. LCD Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse
Weapons:
* All cooling allowed, except LN2. Air, Water and Dry Ice (we provide 10kgs of Dry Ice for each team). Cooling device provide by participants. * Modding - No Soldering, else anything goes... * HDD provided and pre-installed and configured with Windows XP Professional XP2, all the driver (use the latest forceware official driver and latest driver for MB), utility like RivaTuner, ATI Tool, Memset (newest version), Easy Tune, Clockgen and SetFSB. No outside software allowed, so no thumb drives etc * Participant not allowed to use their own hardware, even if the hardware is the same model.
Run Down
* 11 pm: Opening Ceremony and introducing the participants by MC * 11.30 pm : Participants pick up the hardwares, and prepare for setup (checking the hardware if working properly or not) * 12.00 pm : Lunch Time * 1.00 pm : Continue to prepare for setup and testing. * 2.00 pm : The rules announced by Marshall * 2.05 pm : Competition Begins ! * 2.05 - 2.45 pm : 3DMARK 2001 * 2.50 - 3.20 pm : Super PI 1.5 XS Mod 8M * 3.25 - 3.40 pm : Everest Memory Bandwidth * 3.45 - 4.25 pm : PCMark 2005 * 4.30 - 5.00 pm : Aquamark 3 * 5.05 - 5.45pm : 3DMARK 2006 * 5.45 - 6.30 pm : Bring back all the hardware and prepare for closing ceremony * 6.30 - 7.00 pm : Closing Ceremony
Benchmarks (6 categories):
* Super-pi 1.5 XS Mod 8M * 3D Mark 01 - Default Resolution/settings of 3D Mark * 3D Mark 06 - Default Resolution/settings of 3D Mark * PC Mark 05 - Default settings of PC Mark * Everest Memory Benchmark (Read) * Aquamark3
Rules:
* Participants can update the result continuously as long as the time not end for each benchmark. * Benchmark score submitted after the time end, will not counted. * Points allocated for each benchmark First - 8pts, Second - 5pts, Third - 3pts * Raise your hand to submit a score and Marshall will verify and take down the score. * There is no need to finish all categories. Highest total points at end of time wins. * Marshall allowed to verify the score by running the benchmark again.

2nd Winner MB Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3P VGA Card Gigabyte GV-NX86T256H Memory Kingston HyperX PC8500 2 GB Kit HDD Hitachi SATA 160 GB PSU Gigabyte ODIN Pro 550 Watt Cash Money : Rp. 2,500,000 (equal to 270 US$)
3rd Winner MB Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L VGA Card Gigabyte GV-NX84G256H Memory Kingston HyperX PC8500 2 GB Kit PSU Gigabyte Superb 550 Watt Cash Money : Rp. 1,500,000 (equal to 170 US$)

we will provide all the hardware, the detail will published shortly. Participants only bring their own cooling device. We also provide Dry Ice 10 kgs for each team.

modded the Maximus mobo and my coolit.
its perfect now found out the probs with the straps.
want to do some benchies difference with ure blitz..
shall we??
so far limited at around 540x7 or 500x8 prime stable.
managed to get some L720A489 from NZ
really curious how good ure blitz is..
