Yeah, MacBook Air 13" is there.

If you want 13 & 15, then Air.
If you want power 14 & 16, then pro.

Base unit 14” MacBook Pro got a massive price reduction from 8299 to 7499 - very nice! Apple is pushing their laptops hard!

If they complete it with a ‘Chromebook’ like 12 inch MacBook the whole family will be completed.


Yeah. It is the best deal for MacBook and size as well.

It makes MacBook Air m2 512gb a hard sell now also as the price of MacBook Pro 14-inch with m3 pro chip is very close to its price with everything much better.

Correct, and for most users, M3 and M3 Pro won't have big differences. The reduced price means that those considering to buy 15-inch Macbook Air M2 will jump to slightly more expensive 14-inch Macbook Pro M3 instead for the XDR display, headphone jack, and other goodies on the Pro.

Yes, their laptop strategy is kinda haphazard now, hahaha… But the M3 MacBook Pro 14 is a dem good buy, for sure…

Actually most casual users will find even the M1 is fast enough, hahaha…. Anyways, I intend to use my MacBook Pro M1 Pro for at least 7 years before my next change - just like I did my 2014 MacBook Air, hahaha…

Casual users definitely find M1 fast enough, but if Apple really wanted to kill the Windows Prosumers laptop market, they should release 14-inch Macbook Pro at USD 999 (RM4399) but with M1 (no Pro, no Max) chip. 😝

Since most buyers want the Pro for the ports, speakers and Display (also the Pro name).

Basically Apple making Macbook Pro lineup more like iPhone Pro.

Seriously the best combination I feel will be m2 Mac mini base + m3 pro 14-inch MacBook Pro for indoor and outdoor usage. 🤪

If they killed the Touchbar Macbook Pro in M3,

That means they'll be killing the non-Magsafe Macbook Air soon next year, to replace with all MagSafe Macbook Air lineup 🤔

Oh ya, you’re right, I just noticed the memory is 8GB and not 16GB. My M1 Pro came with 16GB… I feel slightly better, hahaha…

Hahaha, cannot la, they still need to sell their MacBook Air ma…

I honestly thought of getting an iMac to replace my old 2012 desktop at home… which still runs Windows 7, hahaha…

Ya, those are already going cheap at 3,5xx to 3,6xx at retailers? Probably will be phased out by the next MacBook Air refresh, maybe in March.
