seriously, 9 out of chinese songs all slow depressing ballads.

cannot make it to international market la like that, make a bit hip hop like Korea mah.

Those 50-60s's chinese songs gives off death and hell atmosphere. It doesn't help that it was performed and used during ghosts festivals.

I think generally western countries have more variety in their songs.

Chinese , despite having 1 billion market , have very limited variety. Songs mostly slow sentimental ballads. It's get a bit boring.

Cantopop in 1980s and 1990s at least got good songs.

I actually think nowadays Thai songs have a lot of variety than just slow ballads.

Yes chinese songs are slow n moody. Cant get that rage anger pump adrenaline flowing mood from chinese songs.

If i wan rev up. Usually are white people band, or spanish also good
