We don't have adequate consumer law and anti-monopoly law, that's why big corpos can get away with such price hikes because they never scare

also it was bigger with better ingredients back then

Depreciation of Ringgit also plays a role. Dont forget the royalty is in USD.

this month got free kopi susu with each order in the apps. mix and match nasi lemak and fries get kopi. can stay full with rm 7

Still 6.50 for the mix&match (used to be weekday special) for many years, remember about 10 years ago also this price.

Meanwhile jiken lice 2 years naik >30%

it's unbelievable you get bread, cheese, sausage, egg, hash brown and cup of coffee for 6.50

Used to buy 3 chicken burger at <RM10 during student time. Now working but feel McD price out of reach kek.

Plot twist, they say kena boycott sales drop and no more economy of scale, had to markup on each sales to earn more.
