hmm, if no weird things going on, then maybe not a concern...
still, how's the system / CPU / GPU temperature when running? |

plastic part for electronic commonly use PC/ABS and the melting point is above 200c,
deform caused by heat from the system is unlikely, unless the device was put constantly under heat stress aka from direct sun light, sun light can degrade plastic. another possibility is the bottom already deformed since bought due to molding cosmetic defect. |

My old asus laptop had this issue as well. Forgot which model was it but I guess it was heat that caused the bubbles and deformed bends. Wasn't really bothered about it coz it didn't really affect anything like performance issues or overheating. Worth a try to contact Asus service centers if you are concerned.

I believe this is eligible for warranty claims. Give it a try.

Tried calling them but I was only noticed it 1 week after warranty ends! So basically they told me I need to pay for the inspection and replacement of the cover QUOTE(Liuteva @ Nov 2 2023, 10:12 AM) I was about to but was only realize the bump a week after the warranty ends. Sent to Asus Authorized Service Center and get the bottom case replaced. Now it's good as new, cost me RM 259 as it's out of warranty.

QUOTE(Pat89 @ Feb 20 2024, 10:05 AM) Do use cooling pad as laptops these days are too thin & compact for good cooling. Coolermaster U2/U3 has configurable fans to blow at the hottest spots. Plus dont use on laps or carpet or lay on uneven places. Turn on battery saving features even if plugged in as it lower speeds (thus heat) and ramp if needed. |
