Hi Sifu,

I recently installed Nyatoh solid wood door frame, with shellac spray paint (not hand brush paint).
However noticed that the wood grain is not visible / very less grain.

Is this as per expected outcome or something amiss on the quality of the Nyatoh solid wood or the shellac paint?

Thanks in advance.

Quite obvious wood grain. But likely not the kinda grain you were expecting.

Another part … spot on, probably not the type I’m expecting

definately got some light brown gel stain sapu on wood first, (covering the nyatoh surface) then spray top coat

Any idea if this is industry practice to apply light brown gel stain on wood prior to spray paint? The vendor told me already apply 4 layer shellac spray paint.
