Just half a day into her first day of work, she was told that she would be put into a one week probationary period to evaluate her performance- something she says, was not told during the job-offer call.

Later in the evening, she received the devastating and shocking news, where she was told that her performance was not up to the company's expectations.

"If you didn't plan on hiring me, you shouldn't have offered me the job and should have rejected me during my interview.

"I've already paid for my child's nursery fees so that I could come and work here. But now I've lost my job. Please do not hire and fire like this, as if that person is of no value.

"Please pray for my strength to be given better rezeki (blessing of sustenance)," she added in her TikTok post which has garnered over 2.4 million views so far.

Some netizens who responded to her post advised her to be more careful when taking up a new job, especially not to accept any offers without a black and white agreement.

TikTok user @NASally11 said that requesting an offer letter should be the most important thing done before joining the company.

Some others even suggested that the company fired her in order to hire someone else, within their own circle of friends.

"Usually in such cases, it is not about not being fit (for the job), but rather, they reject you because they want to take in their friend tomorrow," said TikTok user, @terry_321.

Netizens also advised her to report the matter to the Labour Department to seek reasonable compensation for having to go through such a situation.

"Go to the Labour Department (to report), they will (make the employer) pay you two months salary. I got it before," said TikTok user, @rashidah33796.




Hopefully already full story, if suddenly employer come out say got inventory missing....

no such things is probation under industrial law. She probably can fill a case there but as usual people choose to put it on tiktok or other platform to get famous

came in as fresh grad, had to cover for an employee who resign 24hrs notice

i wrongfully sent invoice lol, boss ask me to pack up, and pay me rm100

Work in food industry.....
The restaurant got take over by other company....
That company save cost....
The oil use don't know how long.....dark like tar and the trash inside...eww...
Also water use to wash vege is from meat washing....
Tak tahan the dirty so escape...

hmm, first day kena fire, probably best to avoid companies like this

either HR is completely useless at screening applicants, or the boss really something wrong one.

employers won't fire people on the 1st day lah...unless very rare occasion
they went through all the effort, time, $$$ to hire u...they're not gonna fire that person unless that person did something horribly wrong

because it was quite serious actually, i sent company invoice to our customer, which shows our marked-up price...and also have the vendor address...so customer know our vendor straight away laaa, cut off us as the middle-man sweat.gif

to my defense, i was mentah one, dont have anyone to show the rope in the office..had to learn from the email trails only

but since its just 3 days, i dont put much thinking on it, and just leave...

I got one intern, i gave him a formal warning.
Working time, most of the time he will be playing with his phone. Caught him few things he was playing games, at time dozed off zzzzz, etc.

Some bosses memang a bit gila wan i tell u. I know of someone who got employed in a small chinaman trading company. Got fired on 3rd week.

Reason being? The lady boss said she took 3 days to fill up some envelopes. Didn't accept the reason there were some letters/invoices only came in on 3rd day.

After that, i heard the subsequent replacement oso kena fired on 3rd day working there laugh.gif

Last last the company now is inactive n not in business. With how they treat their employees I'm not surprised. Why would they even want to hire ppl in the first place if just to find excuses to fire them, I really no idea

i last time also freshie worked in a bank for processing payments, i rmb i made a mistake paying less one zero at back and it went thru (amount was in millions btw). had quite a hoohah in business partner office as they looking to chop and grill whoever made the mistake

luckily my manger and asst manger protected me and resolved the issue

but TBH tho the BP damn overreacting cause the solution was damn easy altho BP has to do the extra work (lel). they just need print and create another trail to verify the next transaction to contra with the shortfall

what to do, im just unlucky...and also glad because, i found out, the turnover rate at that company was crazy...like every 3-5 months sure got people resign

after that, i got a job at an mnc company and never looked back blush.gif

Before u guys complain no phone is removing human rights. Remember that she is hired as front liner, jaga kedai serve customer. It's the type of job u not supposed to play handphone openly. very bad image to the shop/company
