not sure about the pocket limit
but pretty sure they would allocate a finite campaign amount
so eventually, the amount would have run out before the end of the campaign period
i.e. 5k 5% for 1 month / 50k 5% for 3 days?

Don't think I'm going to move any money out of Rize. Rize 3.8% over 3 months still better 5+3+3 correct?
*
i was puzzled since last time u mentioned this
unless u r deciding on whether opening an account
y not park in GX 1 month and then back to Rize for 2 months (5+3.8+3.8)? just a few click away
they might extend promotion, who knows, perhaps with lower cap/period

You guys take "every cent counts" to a whole new level.

wondering how does GXbank make money to pay users all that interests?

https://soyacincau.com/2023/11/14/gxbank-gr...less-right-now/

They don't seem to borrow loan to users, debit card giving away 1%, so where the income for GXbank comes from? burning money from Grab to get users to sign up?
*
promotional expense?
Go+, Rize, they all had campaign/promotion when launched
now the notification from Rize showing 3.79% borrowing rate yet savings receive 3.8%
negative net interest margin for a bank lol.gif

Credited daily so easier to find out what works or don't ourselves. Monthly credited products don't have this benefit
*
i don't think that really matters, i was happy to place the 4.5% 18-month FD, which credited interest 6-monthly

QUOTE(000022 @ May 28 2024, 09:14 AM)
But that KDI 4% is only up till 40k, and then it's back to 3.5%; With rize it's 3.8% for now until end of June no?

GXBank is great as a no consequence 3% interest that can also act kind of like cash flow account with the 1% card
*
it's 50k
true but promo can be extended or modified

the only thing that is permanent is impermanence

3% could be for a long period since most MMFs/FD promo are somewhere above 3.5%

Gxbank and earn profit by putting into MMF and paying us only 3%. The balance they keep 😂
*
laugh.gif i think loan or investment would be more profitable as a 'bank', perhaps still in development

QUOTE(Medufsaid @ May 28 2024, 09:52 AM)
it was an answer to a very specific scenario. to get 3% for 1 day 👇as for me. I put my mid term money into KDI save. 4% which is more than GX bank
*
i was replying to the 'daily/monthly/etc' part

000022 Rize credited month end only. very hard to test aka a leap of faith

Why do you guys not keep it in EPF Account 3 as CASA. More interest than 3% anyway and you still can take out the money.
*
because for every ringgit keeping in EPF account fleksibel, you have also kept RM 7.50 in account Persaraan & RM 1.50 in account Sejahtera
