how can ppl not panic la

missing interest can be 2 possible reasons:

1) front-end app's 'visual bug' - interest credited but not displayed --- question, does the total interest gained tally also? if tally but line not displayed, then likely visual bug

2) backend bug - interest not credited at all, hence not displayed --- if total interest gained not tally, then missing interest not even calculated/credited at all cuz there's nothing to show at the first place.

new issuer "issues". will take time for the rest of merchants/payment gateways/etc to update their BIN database to treat gxbank as a valid Malaysia-issued card.

you'll face this again and again with upcomng aeon digital bank and boost digital bank.

all payment cards are susceptible to unauthorized txn coming thru. it's a never ending battle.

if the gxcard is with you at all times, better to freeze it if not using and unfreeze if using it. yes tedious, but better safe than sorry/worry later to get $$ back from dispute, etc.


since your card already 'responded' by accepting unauthorized txn, that means your card number already 'flagged' to be 'valid'.

better to trigger a new card replacement.

issuer, gxbank, to enforce 3dsecure.

acquirer, merchants, legit or scam, can also choose not to enforce 3dsecure aka 2D. this supposedly to reduce friction and success rate, but with a risk of scam too.

review the app, limits, card settings in the app. tweak where necessary.

freeze from the app. again, play around the app the see all the features. some are hidden. just explore thoroughly.

no, not like go+. savings pocket just a compartmentalized pocket to store fund, and not accessible by the gxcard. ike a savings jar that you put somewhere else.
