I have a problem and i hope somone can give me advise.

i just got a family plan in Celcom ( 1 main line + 6 supp line).

i want to put my mom and her maid (both digi) line to my family plan in celcom.

celcom advise is , bring both to digi , transfer line to my name , then , only i alone go celcom to add in that 2 lines to my family plan.

i just called the starling mall digi express store, i just wanna know if they can do it, he said can do, but i need to make advance payment to do it. i say ok. he said, u want to port out ? if u want to port out, its not worth it cos u paid aadvance payment already. So the cheaper way is to port out to celcom first. then go celcom to change ownership. but if use this option, means , both times, i need to bring my mom and maid. which is susah.

actually, is it true, second option is cheaper?

advance payment can refunded later on, right?

Something I did before, port to prepaid plan (cheapest available), then port into the family plan.

Actually save the hassle of Digi to refund you the advance payment, it will be reflected in your Digi bill. But since you are going to port out, it would be troublesome for them to process the refund.
Easiest way would be to bring them both and complete the ownership transfer one go. As I recall even to change prepaid ownership need both existing and new owner to be present.

Dont go to digi express, go to digi store. They can transfer ownership onthespot, without any payment.

digi change ownership is foc right ? don't change into post paid. change to prepaid.
