how is the DCT.

noted you change the engine mounting but how is the 3 cylinder going

does it vibrate a lot during idle or hard acceleration

Mines original 6 speed CBU version. My experience of the 3 cylinder is in test drive unit of X50, one year plus old at the time when I went to service my X70. I sit at the back also can feel vibration, and sound like Hilux I used to drive from the outside.

Tats is worse than my cheaplak axia already 7 years 140,000.00 km mileage so far mounting still ok. Will u trade in x70 to get s70

Lol what makes you think I'll go back to Proton after this? My Saga FLX also 8 years old when I change mounting.

The rubber you see in the pics need 1100 to change because Geely genius design the whole windshield as one piece, rubber cannot separate.

Actually not even fair to blame Proton, my unit is CBU Geely China built, not Proton build. But just be aware la, damn a lot of issues that's really unexpected for a car that's designed in 21st century. The rubber issue really blow me away, like 1950s Morris Minor quality.

Ahh this one only valid for Proton designed cars like Saga and Persona. My Saga aircond confirm much colder than X70. Some really hot days X70 even maximum also can feel not cold enough. Safety also mehh for me, 2018 X70 launch time maybe ADAS not that normal in cars below 200k but nowadays 40+k Axia also got, whereas Proton cheapest car with ADAS is 90k.

Beli HM for rm175k last time, at that time it look handsome. Unfortunately the NVH just suk big time, almost like driving a P2 car. I had rent Socar Altis, the NVH of it is miles better than mine. Definitely won't repeat with HM, after all it use same 1.5T engine but with CVT

X70 CKD, just at 51k+ km, so far mounting still ok. Already ask SC and outside to check both said still ok. 3 years plus already

Honda 1.5T is not the same as Geely 1.5T…

Please respect the real Honda engine…don’t jump apa NVH into Honda Engine pulak…

If you like engine, you will not used to take Toyota cars that less Torque and power

After all, you just lies about your story. Too bad.

Once a DCT and 6-8 auto gear torque converter, no more CVT. Doesnt matter what brand, driving not best only FC better since less power lost + Keep on engine torque range. But if u went to auto gear workshop repair, u will see a lot of CVT gb under repair especially after hit 150k km mileage and above. Cost wise not cheap, starting at rm4k onward for belt replacement

Already had Accord since 2015. What real Honda engine? It just a normal typical engine. Or u wet dream when see the i-vtec emblem?
HM, all model, all had poor NVH. Aside then the engine, many parts are low quality nowadays especially part that made in Thailand.

Brake juddering due to suk quality brakepad, after change aftermarket pad only ok no juddering. Replaced the driveshaft 4 times under warranty claim, again quality suk. No wonder now all having steering rack starting with Civic FC

Stop your BS…a lot? How much is the a lot? Unker company car 20 biji non of them have CVT issue…

As it is machanical, not like Tesla….Most likely because they skip the gear oil change or something go into it…

Unker not work for Honda, but your comment about the engine refinement and gearbox refinement just not truth at all…

Honda engine has the best performance refinement and output…obviously you have no idea to car…

If you want NVH, don’t comment about Honda…go to other NVH vehicles if you could find one…

The size, weight, and the components of the DCT is way more than CVT…

Honda also got i-DCT…

But I don’t think the Geely DCT can be as responsive as the honda one…

Early this year send HRV for CVT gb repair, belt burst. Spend rm4k+. The more u put words, the more u BS yourself. Open up your mind and see more surrounding.

20 years ago….people are chasing higher L engine, 4-cylinder, 6-cylinder, 8-cylinder, 10-cylinder…

Same goes to gearbox….from 3 gear to 4 gears….then 6/7 gears until BMW launch their 8-10 gears bulky monster…

Looking back to now, we tends to go simple and reliable, no more like last time…

The steel strength/accident idea has been slowly change too…

If one day every one have the ADAS and EBA…nobody would be worry about the safety at rear any more…

Honda DCT works differently…the dry or wet clutch stories are really crazy time for VW lol…

If unker could recalled my memory, someone explain the difference between dry or wet clutch which is not what we expected…no clutch is dry anyway…lol

6 gear DCT for wet clutch?
7 gear DCT for dry clutch?

Anyway, honda gearbox DCT is to skip Toyota Aisin IP… i would say the i-DCT is very impressive…they quite success afterwards…

The real CVT complaint should go to Nissan CVT…not the Honda one…
