Geely x50 tune with super hard suspension.
Proton tune it a bit softer.
Got review before but cant remember which reviewer went all the way to china and did the comparison.
China have super smooth road so they can go with hard suspension.
And proton tune it so it can absorb bump and hole better.
Proton even got mention about it.
I am lazy to find the articles
Many Chinese brands car copy the tech from German as use of turbocharged, dual clutch and even the radiator coolant. But the main different between Chinese and German car is the ride and handling. In China people mostly prefer "soft suspension" over the stiff one. If you got a chance pls go test drive the new Chinese brands in Malaysia such as Omoda 5, Tiggo 8, Atto 3, Dophin, Ora Cat etc. Most of them are in soft setting rather than hard and this is exactly same setup as China market.
Proton isn't tune the X50 a bit softer, it is too soft like old Toyota. The absorber rebounce too much after a bump, this feel comfort but in high speed this feel floating.
