Currently using Zotac 3080ti, got no issue with cooling either.
I would rather pick 4080 than 4070 Ti. Cooling wise, it still depends on how you ventilate your PC, room temp and etc etc.

QUOTE(PowerSlide @ Jun 20 2024, 02:46 PM) It's a GPU can see the difference in performance like more fos, compare to like example audio where it's subjective. The numbers don't lie. I do agree with your point, just that I also see there is a valid reason why Asus exist and charges what they charge. While selling same same PC hardware they target a different clientele and often those that just want hassle free great performance while telling "shaddup and take my money". Basically its rare to see an Asus product review that is bad bad (except Ally)...But these days, electronics is more to your luck than anything, you can buy the best brand and still something can go wrong. One thing though Asus is severely overpriced here. Plus if you know about their awful after sales service in USA you would think twice, it's USA not us here but still show you not everything is amazing even buy from repubale brands. For PC if you have that budget buy the best of your money not brand. Even a zotac 4080 is still a 4080 faster than a 4070ti. But just me, I will never wanna pay for overpriced brand like Asus. About GPU performance, not to say there is no clear difference in performance numbers, but not many can tell the difference between say 300FPS & 400FPS in CSGO/Valorant types and if the differences is imperceptible, going a higher tier GPU wont really give additional benefits. So for these folks, they could justify paying more for better features, better build quality, more RGB bling, better & longer warranty, better RMA support and whatnot, and often just more flex (since its an Asus bro). Well at least thats what I think rich Asus owners justify their overprice purchases, what do I know Im poor. Anyhow, the best advice I can give is buy within ones means not within ones FOMO. |

iinm zotac's supplier suncycle seemed to have good reputation too
and if worry about the cooling performance, you can just cap the power limit of the zotac 4080 to maybe like 80-90%, it'll run way cooler and still probably be the same or slightly faster than the 4070ti with with lower clocks. don't forget 16GB is still better than 12GB VRAM. Even on some AA chinese rpg games released on 2021 I see up to 9GB of VRAM utilized on 1440p I may seem hypocritical to say this even when I'm using suprim version of gpu, but mine is suprim because at that time all these cards cost around the same on the overpriced period (3080 and 3090 are like rm2000 difference, all 3090 versions cost around the same with minimal difference so i picked the nicest ones lol) This post has been edited by terradrive: Jun 24 2024, 01:00 PM |
