Roald Dahl[a] (13 September 1916 – 23 November 1990) was a British author of popular children's literature and short stories, a poet, screenwriter and a wartime fighter ace.[1][2] His books have sold more than 300 million copies worldwide.[3][4] Dahl has been called "one of the greatest storytellers for children of the 20th century".[5]

I read him growing up then thought his writing too simple. Now that i grew up a little, i go back to him to re-learn how to write simply.

In fact i picked up Going Solo a few ago while transiting in changi. Im sure he wrote about palestinian kids somewhere but its not in that book - in that book he just talked about his time leaving the uk for shell tanzania, volunteering to join the raf during the war, shooting down germans over greece then going home due to injuries.

Roald Dahl’s books are my kids first few proper books.

Probably only M40 or T20 only

B40 never heard of it

I am 70s kid....B40..I have read his famous book in mandarin "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"...查理和巧克力工厂
