Suspect my windows or area surrounding is leaking. During rain, water seems to flow out from under the paint/cracks surrounding the window. Pretty severe during heavy rain, actually can form a pool on the floor on some occasions.

Contractor has not surveyed site but has suggested PU injection. Quoted over RM 1k. Area is just 3 aluminium windows in single frame.

Is that rate normal? Any other recommendations? Is DIY possible or advisable in this instance?

Nope, normal open/close window.

Main query atm, is the rate of RM 1k + for PU injection for just these 3 connected windows normal?

As for my window, silicone solved the leaking problem.

As for pu, it cost me rm500 6 years ago for a leaking wall. BTW mine is a landed property.

Big area window? Is ur hand able to reach the outside face of the window lowest part?
If can then DIY n test first, get some clear silicone glue, apply it on the whole stretch of the window, where ever u feel water can seep in. Apply few times, sacrifies ur finger n press the glue into every mini tiny hole/gap u feel there is.

Mine same situation, heavy rain, water flow from the crack paint. After I DIY, so far 3 years no issue (touchwood)
