Hi all, I am a frequent user of the MRT and I park my car at Bandar Utama stations. I get to enjoy the RM4 parking, and

I just wanna ask, let’s say within a day I actually use MRT stations a lot in between, and then return back to Bandar Utama station at the end of the day, do I still get to enjoy the flat rate??

Or the flat rate only applies when you go from Station A to Station B. And then Station B to Station A. And I cannot use MRT to other stations in between during the day?

Flat rate as long using the rail.

Doesn't matter, don't have to be strictly A->B then B->A.

If im not mistaken, Bandar Utama park & ride station is operated by a third party under Bandar Utama City Corporation (BUCC). I'm not sure about their terms and conditions (TNC). However, if you park your car within 24 hours on that particular day, flat rate of RM4.00nett or RM4.30nett (This you need to check) applies. But only if you are using the MRT, as you need to scan your card to enjoy the flat rate.

I get to know you need touch 6 times from car entrance until exit.

Yeah, that’s the thing. Bandar Utama one is operating on its own. And I just found that they actually accept the RM50 monthly pass too, so for the past 6 months I have been paying MRT buta buta. Haha.

I heard that you have to travel atleast 4 stations for the Park n Ride Flat Fee? Is that right?

Not sure about this station but other stations, obviously minimum is 2 stations. A-B and then B-A. I don't see why one would do A-A

PARK AND RIDE FOR RM4 FLAT RATE AT BANDAR UTAMA MRT STATION
You can now park for a flat fee of RM4 inclusive of SST when you use the MRT service and park at Bandar Utama MRT Station Park & Ride.
The Park & Ride facility at Bandar Utama MRT Station is located at Levels B1 and B2 of the 1Powerhouse Building, which is owned and operated by Bandar Utama City Corporation Sdn Bhd.
This rate is applicable to MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line users who satisfy the following conditions:
• Travelled more than 3 stations away from and exit at Bandar Utama MRT Station. For example, you will need to take the train at Bandar Utama MRT Station and exit at Manulife Semantan MRT Station to enjoy this rate
• Exit the 1Powerhouse Car Park before 4am the following day.
• Use ONECARD or parking ticket to enter the 1Powerhouse Car Park.
• Park at Basement 1 and Basement 2 of the 1Powerhouse Car Park.
• Validate the Touch ‘n Go card used for MRT travel at the Autopay machines located at Basement 1 and Basement 2

This is a super old update.

AS OF 2024:
For now it's a cashless parking, you don't need to validate TNG/IC used for MRT. Just enter and exit like normal and they will charge RM4 flat rate.

For those who are using MRT monthly pass (identification card), could you please update how the process is like?
I haven't got the chance to test it out yet.

Was caught by surprise this morning. They should be paste this at the entry instead of the lift

Last year kena one time very bad experience, my IC can not enter the car park, so have to use another card. Went to counter, the staff said due to I have changed the IC recently, so sometimes system will block, and they did put notice on the tag machine at entrance, said only new IC will have this issue.


Not sure if now it has been resolved. I am now using the tng enhanced card to park and ride MRT. Don't have monthly pass.

Miyaokochan, you just need to use the same TnG for parking and rail ride. Before exit parking, go to Polis Bantuan counter near the bridge and the PO will ise the payment device to validate before you exit.

Not sure if this will be there for the weekends.

Friday I was there, didn’t take the MRT ride but I saw a queue. I saw people using their credit/debit card too to validate with the polis bantuan. Also I don’t use TNG for my MRT rides, I take the monthly pass on my IC.

apparently you can use TnG/MyKad with TnG for train ride and credit/debit card for car park payment or using the same TnG for both

May i know if Park n' Ride Bandar Utama MRT still have flatrate for MRT users? I know they revise parking rate at 1u recently.

Also how is the parking availability? need to go early to get?

yes still available the flat rate. need to use the same TNG card for both parking and MRT.
by 9AM or so it's quite full already. The parking availability is quite limited, only 2 floors.
