QUOTE(anakMY @ Oct 15 2023, 01:09 PM) Sohai do u even know what the battery cycle count means? 15 cycles in a month what's the problem? I'm charging everyday , so 1 month would be 30 cycles, nothing wrong with my phone battery after 2 years. That's not how battery cycle is calculated. It not "charge once = 1 cycle".You are the sohai here. kiddokitt liked this post

My cycle count is 7. Bought since launch day in KL.
Secret is to always charge using Magsafe battery pack and never let it drop to below 80% charge. Also never fully charge to 100%. Magsafe will trickle charge the iPhone steadily at 90% always. |

you have 480 cycle to go.
after that, capacity <80% aka lesser value |

QUOTE(NautilusBW @ Oct 15 2023, 12:40 PM) My macbook cycle count is low, even on always charge. its very simple, a cycle is a charge from 0-100%. so for eg if you use device until battery 50%, then charge, thats 50% of 1 cycle. then next day if you do the same, so it will add another 50% to become counted as 1 full battery cycleSo not sure how the cycle count works. Maybe depends on heat and heavy usage. so usually larger batteries have an advantage in terms of lower cycle count, cause obviously if more capacity means you use and charge less duh this havent even touch into multi cell batteries even which gets more complex, mostly in sense of single cell batteries only most basic electronics with battery are rated with 500 cycles anyway which is why you see by 2-3yr of use its considered degraded. we can assume avg user charges at least full once every 1 day, so that will be 30 cycles a month, 360 cycles a year, and so on. Don’t worry about charge cycle la.
At least iPhones are safer. |
