Hello all, sorry for stupid question but i have really no idea how electrical wiring works, for a new condo with wire popping out from the ceiling (like in picture below), do I just need to buy a light and fan and get a electrician to install it? Is there any further job need to be done to the wire before I can install fan or light on it?

Pretty simple but don’t DIY if you never done before. Need to check where is the direction of the buried conduit before drilling. You can start purchasing your fans and lights n get a technician to install. Lights need mounting (need to drill) Fan if it’s ready hook and ready wires you can self install but please note the different colour codes between cables used in-wall conduit vs those from device This post has been edited by ceo684: Oct 15 2023, 11:30 AM Bijisss liked this post
