If you engage professional movers, they will do almost everything from a - z ... from packing, moving and unpacking.

If you just rent a lorry, then you require to do own packing plus hire few workers to load and unload. Lorry driver is just to drive the lorry.

You can also diy if you have a mpv provided the things are not too bulky. Some may need to dismantle for ease of moving. I have moved WM, 3 seater medium sofa, king bed frame, dining table etc. You require a helper to do that.

There are few of them in google. Their rates depend on what level of services require. From standard to premium 😃.

https://www.comparehero.my/articles/top-9-p...rvices-malaysia

Don't be surprised that their services are highly in demand and waiting period can be at least two weeks for the good one.

If you moving from house to condo, do check early that those things can masuk the lift. Otherwise you be stuck during the moving day. Using the stairs will be extra charge 😂

Engaging a house moving company is super convenient right now..

Doesn't cost and arm and leg too.. They'll pack the items for you and also unpack it for you.. Had a good experience when i moved house earlier this year

Yea but then again you could ask the mover ,they might be charge slightly cheaper,
Anyway, corrugated carton is not cheap, depending on size & its thickness
