Hi.

Applied for a engineering position I don't know when, first interview almost 2 year already then they senyap. Last 2 months they called for interview again. Last week got the offer +46% then current. But reading on the financial status of Sapura, that PN17 things, do you guys think if I jump ship I will be jumping into blackhole? I not really understand what that PN17 things but quick Google search it's not a good thing. Any advice? Current company is stable MNC. My only reason to jump is because current salary increment about 3-5% p.a only. If stay they don't know when I will get same salary as offered by Sapura

sapura is starting to turn around, and since it is GLC, major stake holder is PNB, I hope they can really make things work, it is a miss managed company, and you can see that their BOD is receiving 10times more remuneration than others well doing company, I dono why. They have projects, but not enough money to run the company :X

anyhow it is up to you to decide

i heard the working culture is not good. as someone said here, it is miss managed. management is bad. a few good workers carry the whole company. expect to do a lot of work while others do nothing
that is what i heard from former employees.
FYI i'm in the same industry and had an interview with them few months ago. it was basically my last choice

If u really desperate for the $$$...

Can try to take the risk... hold for few years, then jump again.... before things get worse...

Your choice 🙏

Money first or company stability
