Hi.. so IBKR is the better choice compared to Schwab? I am used to thinkorswim so am considering schwab but it looks like most people prefer IBKR. Any reason why?

Mine has always been with TDA SG.

I am mainly interested in US stocks though and IBKR charges a commission as compared to CS. I day trade on days when I have time to look at the market and the commission for IBKR is going to add up fairly quickly. It seems IBKR does provide significantly more interest on your cash balances, provided your cash balance with them is US$100k and above.

I have initiated a/c opening with CS but I wonder if they are just going to refer me back to TDA SG... lol.
