Package Content & Design
Everything comes well-protected in an environment friendly package. There are BeeDrive, USB-C to C cable, USB-C to A adapter and quick start guide. Be sure to check out the online product manual too.



Excellent build quality with sturdy plastic housing. Yup, it supports up to 2-meter drop protection. Compact in size and light in weight. Easy to carry around and store in your pocket. As you can see, there is a BeeDrive logo in the middle and LED light indicator at the corner.



Mine is 1TB model. There is another larger one at 2TB. Pick the one that suits your needs.



Slim body too. And here is the USB-C port for data transfer. It is loaded with USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 (10Gbps) interface. It is also backwards compatible. And will default to the maximum speed of your system then.



Benchmark Performance
Synology BeeDrive supports up to 1050 MB/s transfer rate based on specifications. It performs better on USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 port. It manages to reach up to 1208 MB/s for reading and 896 MB/s for writing. That’s the result from sequence Q8T1 test in CrystalDiskMark 8.0.4 benchmark. In addition, it is loaded with high IOPS that is great for smaller files transfer. In short, outstanding performance!

Software & Usages
Synology is a company that specializes in network-attached storage appliances for personnel, businesses and enterprises. Hardware is not the only stuff that makes BeeDrive shine. Software does too. Synology is well-known for their data management and backup solution. Therefore, BeeDrive is getting the best software support as well.



BeeDrive for desktop is the application that you need. It is available on Windows PC now. And coming soon on Mac. First of all, Computer Backup. Select the files that you want to backup from the PC. And it starts automatically every time you plug BeeDrive in. That's not all. You can retrieve deleted files from your PC. Those files will be kept in BeeDrive’s Archive Files. You can recover these files easily. In addition, you can keep up to 5 versions of your files. This is great for projects and school documents. Just revert to the previous version if a mistake was made.



File Sync is great for multiple computers. You can exchange files between PCs at your home and office effortlessly. Once set up everything, BeeDrive will automatically sync the latest changes between them. In short, all your important files are always up-to-date and have another backup on BeeDrive.



Never run out of your smartphone storage space with BeeDrive mobile application. It is available for both iOS and Android devices. Yup, just like Google Photos backup. It will back up all your precious photos and videos to BeeDrive wirelessly through Mobile Transfer. You get the best transfer rate through local WiFi. And it even works anywhere, anytime as long as you have Internet connection. Lastly, you can access BeeDrive files from your iOS device while on the go too (not available on Android yet).
