Anyone tried installing solar panel on awning? Or better still, use solar panel as awning? I've plans to install awning at my parents' driveway, so thinking if its possible to do so. The driveway also gets unblock sunlight throughout the day.

the aeon at my place is doing so... they are covering the rooftop carpark with solar panels, its used to be non covered car park

last month i only notice my tnb app also go crazy. the unbilled usage was super high n its obviously is not mine because my house is undergoing renovations. luckily when they billed me the actual reading was correct. but the unbilled reading error still on going for this month too. i have no idea whats the issue. btw i not yet have solar. this is just a pure 3 phase meter.

after solar, will they change my meter or add on another one?

i think like everyone here that will install smart meter for solar

I have just finished installation with PathGreen on Nov 7, meter activation on Nov 18 and Solaris application received on Nov 24. I initially engaged Solaroo but once I learned that they will not provide the S-miles Cloud access, I decided to switch. Credit to Solaroo anyhow as they have been helpful in refunding my payment and facilitated the transfer at SEDA. PathGreen has been very efficient also, I called them on October 26 and installation was scheduled on Nov 7. Even after the installation they are still very helpful in following up the performance. Happy with the installation so far.

my experience with PG so far so good
sep - sign up at home fair, almost did not get quota, but SEDA increased 100Mw apa la... up front macam 400, 5%? their home fair brochure price after discount is 20k for 6.15 Kwp
oct - finalised registration paid 20% - 400
installation had to schedule end of Nov, took them 1 day, bought them lunch since they skipped lunch to complete it and they were late that day, the panel delivery and skylift were here from 8am... installer came around 10
sales person came to my house with credit card machine to pay remaining 16k in 24 months installment after installation

another thing to take note of, if you opt for any other payment plan apart from 12 and 24 months, you will need to pay an extra 2k which will be included into your plan...

Will cash term be cheaper than instalment term?
*
i doubt it, his system is same as mine and hes getting it 1k cheaper 6.15kwp i assume.

i only know their term is anything above 24 months they will charge RM2k and it will be part of the installment
