Hi all sifus!
I currently have an average of RM400 TNB bill and am interested in getting a solar system. My house is still on single phase and I have gotten a quote from PathGreen for 3 phase 6kwp.
Wonder if this is still applicable for me? Currently have no EV at home but plan to have one in the near future...
Also, appreciate if you guys can introduce me some alternate solar companies for me to consider as well apart from PathGreen. I've registered for Emit Solar but there's no response...
Thanks in advance!

QUOTE(sihamsedap @ Mar 11 2024, 09:33 AM) where are you based? 400 still doesnt quite cut it as good ROI but its ur choice.. Setapak, KL area. The quote I received from PG is RM22k for 6kwp. I feel price is ok for long term...

I think 22k includes 3 phase already… how would I know how much is enough to cover my monthly usage?

QUOTE(angelgemini @ Aug 22 2024, 09:23 AM) now days wanna install solar also hard. my friend engaged few company, all sales ignoring him. some tell him need to wait 3 to 6 months for installation. only 1 company reply him, and he take it up, need to wait until oct only reach his queue for installation. So high demand huh? My quotation and installation by PG was fast and efficient. Everyone approved and installed plus started using within a month. I think it was commissioned in May this year. My RM400-500 bill has reduced to RM10-70 for the past months with a single phase 6.9kwp system

QUOTE(coconutzz @ Aug 23 2024, 08:16 AM) Please correct me if I am wrong, if there is Power outage, solar will not be able to generate Power? As the inverter are connective to Power? Thanks The solar power meter is connected to the DB with an MCB. If there's power outage, the meter will switch off supply to the solar system as well. Thus, no solar generation during this period. This is also a safety precaution so you can ensure nothing is powered when you switch off power from your main DB and work on the electrical wiring at your home.
