Possible if we get our own SPD and ask the vendors to install it?

Usually spd is part of the deal.
*
Based on both of your replies looks like not all of the vendors provide. I will find out more about it. Thx guys.

do you know what is inverter?

what like solar is your solar panel.

Inverter and component inside scare heat.

*
Most of the solar installer recommends installing inverter inside confined room, or under the staircase storeroom usually. Will it be an issue?

gonna monitor a bit.. bunch of users complaining already..

see if they'll send a revised bill within next 2 weeks, will only complain after that..
*
Same goes with me, August month I switch to TOU, 1 bill then when my NEM activated a few weeks later, 1 more bill. This morning just received another August bill but to be paid before 1st Oct 2025. I also lost count how many bills I have paid. What I see is the TNB software is not capable to accept these abrupt changes.. lame! dry.gif

i upgrade from mitsubishi mr.slim to panasonic inverter. both 2hp. no need change piping.

Heavy use. 8 hours at least everyday.
*
Tangent a bit, the ac seller told me Mitsubishi is the best AC (import quality, long lasting etc.. ) do you feel so? My Daikin's Inverter series served me more than 12years dy still ok, but I might replace it one I have the budget.

I tried daikin. really can tahan lasak but my only gripe is high frequency sound when gas move or fan. cannot fix. So i shift it all to living room. So far same like yours 14 years already still jalan.

Mitsubishi not worth, maybe mine old model. A lot of problem and really shitty remote control. I dont expect remote to not have internal clock, so timer u need to calculate how many hours later shut off. And i used total 8 years i think, repaired quite a lot of time and many times leaking water.

Just go with Panasonic. I have another 2hp in study area. Never give me any issue in 14 years
*
Thanks mann.. will go for panasonic inverter then.

All my home air-conds all converted over the years to Daikin Inverter aircond, from 1.5hp to 2.5hp. No hissing gas sound. If got, that means gas leaking.. sweat.gif
*
My daikin ranging from 1hp to 2.5hp all inverter series, been serving me for 12year dy. Time to replace 1 by 1. Showing signs of wear and tear.

QUOTE(numbertwo @ Sep 9 2025, 03:05 PM)
Buying electrical items these days require some kind of luck.. bad luck means we get lemon... very often happens on even the most trusted brand.. Just go with the mainstream like Pana Daikin with 5 star energy saving label..
*
Exactly.. my office has 6nos of 3hp Mitsubishi Inverter ceiling mounted type. Bought and installed the same time. 2 units start to show signs of failure. Sad. sad.gif

QUOTE(virtualgay @ Sep 9 2025, 03:48 PM)
those mainstream is like super expensive
i am using china brand
*
Issit AUX? I forgot the name but my supplier told me AUX is producing Panasonic air conds too..

yeah ROI of 7 years are acceptable, furthermore although battery warranty is 10 years, it wont drop dead at 10 years + 1 day, just the capacity degrade to 80% or so, still can use for very long time for further saving down the line

just like some idiot worry about the 8 years EV battery warranty
*
I would assume at that time battery have better capacity, better technology and cheaper.
