Anyone tried installing solar panel on awning? Or better still, use solar panel as awning? I've plans to install awning at my parents' driveway, so thinking if its possible to do so. The driveway also gets unblock sunlight throughout the day.

besides the electricity generation portion, how about the heat underneath the rooms in the topmost floor? does it become cooler due to the panel absorbing most of the heat?

Currently securing purchase of 16 cells of EVE LF280K and 16 cells of Batterotech BT280......
Gonna parallel all 3 packs for total storage of 38kWh.

Current installation is very messy. 
Don't get me started with leaky roof and requires sealant etc....Not to mention buying non polarised breaker for the battery connection to the off-grid-inverter.

I gonna wait for my EVE and BT cells to arrive first before making any changes to current installation. 
Should arrive in April or May if I am not being scammed?

Actually, the easiest is to get the import - export. If the value is positive, calculate the bill based on the lowest tariff and goes all the way up

for example, import is 990
export is 700

so you need to pay 290 units

200 units at 21.8 cent
and 90 units at 33.4 cent

and some taxs and misc charges like kwtbb

Since many have experience with solar here, i would like to ask.

i've heard some feedback from few different solar provider/installer on their home. Feedback received is the power generated from solar, differs from the power received in TNB based on the power written on the electricity bills. Is this normal?

Example: Generate 600kWh seen in the app, but in TNB bill only show received 300-400kWh?

Good to know, i didn't know it worked that way without any battery storage. The electricity generated will be used throught DB before being sent back to TNB.
Will it accumulate? I thought those excess will be "earned" by TNB and not accumulated for consumer?

Hi guys, I am planning to get my home to equip with solar panel, it is around RM300 per month and my house is 3phases power. I wanted to have installment plan, I saw there are some subscription based solar provider, are they good? Or I should go with those installment one

I know TNB SparkX got that instalment thingy.. SOLS also got.. and now the new Solar Boleh program.. but... they already factored in the % cost...and it seems higher than credit card 0% instalment

Yesterday the installer company technician came with drone... took footage and photos of my roof.. also discussed where to put my inverter and explained how they will run the cabling.. now waiting for them to send me proposal of how it'll be installed.
