lol, then wat is the point, you are still paying 600 each month. After 10 years, yes you get the solar panels + inverter, but by that time, most likely you will need to start replacing them.

Inverter usually last for only 10 years times, Huawei or other better brand maybe can last longer, but it also come with cost.

My workplace got 6 SMA inveters installed in Nov-Dec 2019. One fail in June and another one in July this year.

600kWh only 250++ per month la. Where got kena slaughter? For average Malaysian home you will only hit this number if you have aircond running every day and from night to morning. If only few hours per day and using Inverter aircond will be around 150++.

To reach 1000kWh, you need aircond running both day and night lol.

Those that can afford to live in one is T1 level already. 3-4K per month TNB bill is nothing for them lol.

I've reached 1000kWh twice this year. Bill close to 500. Nomal usage only 250-300.

Roof is inverter V shape with pretty good space available. What should I go for in terms of brand / inverter / etc?

wait until warranty over... and you gona pray hard that your cabling and inverter is still working well 
a friend of mine.. install during the first batch NEW... has replace inverter twice and he told me.. what ever gain now return back to seller 
i myself install... since my inverter come with 12 years... i just can hope.. the company survive 

Some company like mine warranty claim no charge BUT labour to dismantle and change got charge.
Also many worried in solar company close shop, who gonna respond to the warranty claim.

So it is nice to get long warranty but the problem is the company handling the warranty sure got labour charge especially if need skylift and most importantly, if company close shop, who gonna handle the warranty claim. Many company no want to handle warranty claim that was installed by other company not related to theirs.

Solar panels also need maintenance once in a while, the cost do adds up but depends on usage, for me, either break even after 10 years or will earn a couple of years of free solar. Better than no solar especially since daytime, my parent also use air cond, the solar daytime generation contra that. Worth it.

Also warranty for PV if spoil but does not cover degradation over the years, sure the performance will drop.

yeah, manufacturer and reseller also give bullshit claim too, dont worry your equipment are warrantied for 20years and such, solar panel degrade little only per year, your inverter last long2 (hahahahaha)

remember steel water pipe that people claim can last 50 years? yeahhhh less than 20 years dah berlubang. manufacturer claim nimh battery can last 2100cycle, mine less than 100 cycle dah kaput. this alkaline battery said should last 10 years, but why it is leaking in 5 years?, lithium battery have 500 charge cycle with 70% capacity remain, while mine(mostly plugged in) no longer holding charge despite having BMS making sure it will not overcharge. oh phone battery can go 900cycle will have 80% battery health remain, mine less than 600cycle already 81% battery health remain despite i only charge up to 90% most of the time,not even quick charge. oh lifepo4 have 3000-5000cycle, yeah2 sure2 we can trust that.

whatever it is i dont give a fark about manufacturer claim (or even so called neutral third party research claim). if i need it, then i buy it. if it breaks, please make sure part replacement is available for long period of time.

Yes, that might be the idea especially for NEM 1.0, NEM 2.0 users. It gives a sort of direction and roadmap of what to do with out solar panels (besides direct usage using daytime) after NEM ended. That is if the govt does not stop ATAP when our NEM ended. Very hard to say with the current TnB and Govt.

no way 10.5kw can get saving RM 750..mine 11.2kw micro monthly around RM 500 only
