This is my fifth time in the toilet tonight with watery stool.

I can't tahan the stomach cramps..quite unbearable every now and then..

What should I do? To soothe the cramp?

Go see doctor, 24 hrs clinic.

In Malaysia, activated charcoal is indicated in the treatment of diarrhea and food poisoning. In addition, activated charcoal also helps in reducing absorption of drugs, plant, inorganic poison and chemicals in poisoning by ingestion cases.

Activated charcoal availability in Malaysia

Activated charcoal are available in two forms in Malaysia:

activated charcoal tablet; 250mg per tablet
activated charcoal powder

Dosing

The dose of activated charcoal differs according to patients’ condition.

Single dose activated charcoal or multiple dose activated charcoals are given in cases of poisoning. This depends on the severity of the condition. It is up the healthcare providers to opt for the best treatment for patients’ benefit.

For treatment of diarrhea and food poisoning: from 500mg to 1g and repeated 3 to 4 times daily. Children are usually given half of the adult dose.

If the goal of treatment is to reduce the absorption of drugs, plant, inorganic poison and chemicals in poisoning cases, activated charcoal powder is administered in the form of slurry. However this form of treatment is usually administered in the hospital. The dose depends on the severity of the condition.

You have medical benefit, take grab, go 24 hrs clinic. If so bad, they give you medicine through drip. Will feel better fast.

Subway tuna is my favourite and I'd never had any such issue before buying from or eating at various branches.

Maybe you can't digest some of the ingredients? Or maybe that particular subway branch you're buying from.

Four ill in Spain with botulism linked to tuna

Four people are part of a foodborne botulism outbreak in Spain after eating DIA brand tuna.

A batch of canned tuna in sunflower oil of the brand DIA has been removed from sale. The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) said those who became ill ate a homemade salad that included the tuna. Spanish media reported one of the patients was still in hospital.

The foodborne outbreak was suspected to be caused by the tuna or grated carrots from Spain with distribution including Andorra, according to a Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) notice.

AESAN became aware on Aug. 9, through the Spanish rapid information exchange system (SCIRI), of a notification from health authorities in Castilla y León of a food poisoning outbreak caused by botulinum toxin linked to consumption of canned tuna in a homemade “Russian” salad.

Products have been analyzed and the presence of botulinum toxin was confirmed in late August in the consumed can of tuna.

Never had any issues eating Subway

I also stay away from Subway due to this, everytime eat, kena diarrhea.

The only Subway I eat is the Veggie only, and just olive oil dressing.

Location: Subway, Aeon Big (formerly Carrefour) Subang Jaya.

The place was devoid of customers when I arrived for a very late lunch. One of the workers was messing with a problem with the drinks dispensers. I slowly perused the menu.

That worker went back behind the counter and put on disposable gloves. Another worker popped her head out of the swinging door behind the counter and passed that worker a cellphone. He took it, looked at the screen and laughed, and passed it to the other worker who was also wearing gloves. He looked at the screen, laughed as well and fingered the screen of the phone to scroll, and I thought, "wow that screen is responsive even thru the glove."

Finally decided on the kind of sub I wanted and was about to place my order when I had another thought: waitaminute! cellphone handled by them using gloves which were going to be also used to assemble my sandwich. How clean was that cellphone? I decided not to eat there and walked out.
