Hi.. need an advice.. which is good to print my photo 1. selphy or eqv type (using sub-dye type) 2. ink jet - canon pixma, epson. etc my consideration (top order first)- low cost-quality-size of print out i use to have selphy canon printer. but i drop it and damage.. ( at 69c per pc.. it quite reasonable.. sometime i'm damn lazy to go to photo print shop + personal picture i also use to have a canon ip600 (if i'm not mistaken) few years back.. and the ink drain quite fast... so suggest me with the model ,price and why.. thanks

I think interm of printing quality.. normal home printer cant match with printing outside at printing shop. Photos printed outside..can feel a layer of protection... which prevent the photo from sticking together.. and i believe these photos can preserve d colour for more years compare to what we print at home. But the problem with printing outside is..You always not able to get the exact colours-saturation-contrast of what u seen in ur monitor/ or wat u want it to be... Most important is...remind the printing ppl.. "DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING TO D PHOTO" Smtime is their job to edit photos for ppl...and extremely hate it.. Even if they din edit the photo.. Straight away print.. also wont get what we want most of the time.. I have extremely horrible experience..where i have to reprint the whole 100 pieces of photos all over again..bcause d photos printed r so BAD~.. After trying out different places..i stick to Fotoshangrila.... their printing r d closest although the image are slightly HIgh contrast.. Sorry..i din really answer ur question which printer is good... I personally using canon IP 4000... good printer which last me quite a long time.. but again.. photopaper makes a huge difference too..

You can try Epson Inkjet printer the R series model with 6 ink cartridge. If you want to save cost use CISS for large volume printing.
I have notice some shops printing passport photos using this Epson R series printer with CISS.
