Quick question about travelling to Taiwan

Hi,
Is it still necessary to book hotel in advance before going to Taiwan? Will Immigration demand any hotel booking receipt to know the purpose of our travel? Aside from that, is there anything else we need to prepare aside from flight ticket and passport? I'm planning to stay at Taiwan for about 7 to 8 days. |
