Can't blame them. It's hard for them to break out of their ecosystem.

If I'm EU, I'll just ban them from selling in EU until they fix the problem. No need waste time bringing them to court.

Apple will upcar thinking they success in conning EU.

Exactly. At the end of the day it's just a phone. Nothing more.

Fun facts, Apple is one of the original contributor in USB C design (heck it’s even inspired from Lightning).

Meanwhile those hundreds cainafon makers are the one which modify and came out with their own version of USB C.

USB PD2.0 allow max charging up to 100W back then, and it’s unrealistic to implement on small devices like phone. Meanwhile cainafon makers go and softmod USB A & USB C charger to take 120-150W of power, on a phone.

Its better to buy expensive chargers that will "detect" what max current the device can use. Those cheapo fast chargers are the ones that causes problems. Because it does not have these features.

I believe apple did not design the phone to have fast charge control circuitry inside the phone. But rather move it to the charge brick.

Waiting for people to try is apple type C fast charge charger is usable for android?
