Used it from airport to go home.

Unker drive fast in right lane and keep touching his phone. Every time he touch his phone, his car will swerve to the left.

Many AA Ride drivers are taxi drivers who don't use Waze or Google Maps.

after going through tolls, does the app auto charge it or have to pay manually to the driver? grab automatically charges it in the app.

book on the spot ok. if advance booking, high chance they will cancel, especially early morning booking. early morning, or peak time, normally need to add tips to attract drivers. one tip i heard from grab/airasia ride, if u choose cash payment option, the chances to get ride higher as compared to using credit card/debit card. never tested, but early morning search using cc very hard to get.

For airport trip, not using Waze or Google Maps is OK.
For other, less well known locations, they may take the longer routes.

Why are you considering AA ride in the first place? Grab sudah bankrupt ka? For a few ringgit more you'll get a fully licensed driver with proper documentation for both car & driver. AA ride's may not have that.

I don't like this anymore. A few times I did that, end up they cancel me wth so have to book as normal.

These were early flight as well so it just cause unnecessary stress.

Now i just wake up bit earlier and see which one got driver available and book straight.

I've taken AA Ride 3 times to the airport and from my observation:
- cheaper than Grab
- faster than Grab

Just not for the faint of heart because the ride can be fast and furious no kidding.

I don't use AA for airport rides. Too many old Saga/Persona taxi with sunken rear seats.

Only use grab. Price doesn't matter cos can claim and I can get points. If get Axia, cancel and retry.

What makes you think AA does not have a fully licensed driver with proper documentation for both car and driver? I though all e-Hailing companies need to fulfill this?

Trust me la..EVP needs to be settled by respective ehailing companies with their own money. And they don’t give out EVP to part timers. Ask your superior la if you’re working for any of them besides grab.

My experience from 10/9/2023 and 14/9/2023,
1st experience, fare around Rm54 from Midvalley to KLIA2.
Malay unker fetch, friendly, helpful and polite unker with good driving skill.
Give RM5 tips.

2nd experience, fare around RM59 from KLIA2 to Midvalley.
Chinese aunty fetched, lanci and waited inside the car and asked us to move the luggage into her car.. some more, sleepy driver and she kept crossing other lanes. After warned her, she only be careful.
No tips given.

Overall experience, cheap and avoid lady driver next time.

I've used a few times, 2 or 3 times using advanced booking pick up at 4am to go to airport.

So far no issue, usually cheaper than grab (also they always promo voucher for airport destination)

Yes admittedly Grab has the most complete documentation for both their drivers & cars. AARide is the next best thing but as like I said it may not be complete for their part timers. The rest..wish all of you who used it lots of luck!

My experience is the non-moving car shown on AA app, but car still arrived nonetheless. Sometimes I don't know whether to cancel or continue waiting because of this bug.

Edit: and AA drivers will know my phone number because I've received calls from driver trying to contact me to clarify things after booking.

Definitely not myth, because AA took 3 or 4 working days to cash out as compare to Grab within the working days. Hence many of the driver will not prefer credit card/debit card job.

Erm yes, AAR tend not to register EVP for part timers. As i know one year EVP cost them RM115 and they tend to register for their own full time driver only.
