i'm suprised no one commented yet.

Great shots & great sounding captions although they struggle to match sometimes. Slightly lacking is an extra dose of post-processing. Personally, I would not be afraid to overdo post-processing on these pics.

A question from a noob.
Does it need special lense to make the picture look like yours.
I mean how the white area fill with grey dots.

The temple shot, bicycle shot, cat shot and the jail shot is like perfect for me.
I need to find something to read on this B&W thingy, you open a new door for me.
Care to give some dummy guide?

I am a noob too! =D

Nope,i did not use any filter to make the noise(grey dots).What i usually do is to use PS to add the noise.
All thanks to the ability of PS.What i can suggest u is to play with the PS a lot.I mean really a lot.FYI,i am a PS noob.Hehe.
The things i always play with PS for my bnw photo is the brightness,contrast,curve and saturation. =)

Hopefully my informations can help u a bit or more.Hehe.. =)

The above photo was taken at Nine Emperor God Festival (Kow Wong Yeh).When i saw this incident,i rushed to the scene with my camera.My heart was filled with excitement and as the fire burning,my finger can't stop hitting the shutter.
Honestly,i was hoping the fire will spread faster and bigger.I felt the heat,i heard the scream,i captured the moment and i enjoyed it.



The excitement is gone when the people united.The sound of applause woke me up from my evil fantasy.

My heart had taken over my brain for that moment.

Nah,mine is nothing much more than a normal bnw photo...But bear in mind that,love every of your photo.What i am trying to say is,shoot every moment,things,scenery etc tat u like and edit the photo the way u want it.Make sure u like the photo because the best photo is always in ur mind. =)

i love the grain definitely, very movie-ish, however i do feel they're lacking abit of "punch". Also the last pic is kind of overdone.
