i tried the new firmware version v1.3.132 for dvico 6500a...since i already received my bluray internal drive for pc..

rip two bluray.. 2001 space odyssey and chris botti boston .. (using anydvd hd)

both for iso format rip had major stuttering and almost unplayable.. but menu worked

with full rip but not in iso with folders bdmv and certificate included.. everything work fine without stuttering and menu worked too..  rclxm9.gif

will take pictures and steps n post here when i have the time....

in my case, a few in iso format have same issues. I guess bdmv is safer then

Now, shall I buy a 1.5tb HDD to slot into my 6500 hmm.gif (need to chk my $$$)

My 6500 is 'empty stomach'. Heard that an 'internal' HDD has less problem esp so for our 'backup' BD in iso / bmvv format.

I have no problem with HD Audio. My 1800 decodes it flawlessly. This is the main reason that I ditched WD TV for 6500.
