if it loads BDs like it should, then the Java loading screen should displayed when you select the BDMV file (assuming that title has BDJ content) .. alas it doesn;t..

time to get a real BDMV player...

nyway since you have the 6500,how you play the rest of the BDMV/ISO with BDJ ? manually select the biggest m2ts file?

on your BD player/PS3, the ones when you load the blu-ray n play it, immediately got the Loading logo come out.. that's the BDJ loading lor.. RE3 has that, the crow with red eye logo.. come out..

Sigma 8642 chip
Our 3.0 solutions are based on Sigma Designs 8642 chip, not on the 8643 one. We'd like to remind that every odd version of Sigma chips is a functionally reduced variant of the chip with the _previous_ even number (i.e. 8643-8642. 8635-8634, ...). Odd versions inc. 8643 and 8635 are never meant for playing any copyright-protected materials (like Blu-ray and DVD) and are mostly meant for cheap IPTV/VoD set-top-boxes. For example, Macrovision support is enabled in 8642 chips and disabled in 8643 ones. So only Dune players on 8642 chip have no limitations with output of protected video through analog video interfaces. Also 8643-based players can not be legally sold in any AV-stores as Blu-ray players (for example, with some preinstalled Blu-ray drive), for Dune BD players there is no such limitation and you'll be able to find them not only in Internet.

dun believe all the hype on 8642/43.. the "functionality reduced" mentioned means no marcrovision protection.. for SD video output..

if you not using that function (i.e. use yellow RCA or Svideo out to TV) then there is no difference..



I don;'t see how the 8643 is inferior to the 8642 in the sense of reduced functionality of HD playback via HDMI/ HD Component?

why are you quoting me between the 43 and 45? I was comparing the 43 and 42.. ganjil vs genap..

between 43 and 45 of coz form the table can see the difference in function lor..

if you want to play BDMV/ISO and real blu-ray discs, then get dune..

I mean USD399 Dune with Bluray drive works far better than a RM1.5k 6500 right?

err.. ok, how about you pay me 2.5k for it?. sounds fairer price to you?

TV also can play MKV now.. but the compatibility list not sure.. after like clamul type, 40% only can play..

you dun scare after you kena upgratitis ar? maybe it's a 20hz sub?

soon you also need to buy two unit of 4bay Icydock (not one)
