Don't worry.. if everyone having the same problem. must be software. It will be fixed.. new phone, probably didnt go through enough testing. Also, it's apple.. must have been overconfident.
Or maybe they have plan to release apple powerbank

Imagine Apple force users to charge with Apple powerbank only. Cannot use 3rd party powerbank.😂

Iphones after getting an update or newly unboxed usually will take several days to finish optimization in the background…that’s why the battery drains faster in those couple of days…nothing new, it’s a feature, even in iphone 13.
overheating iphone 15 is due to poor heat dissipation of titanium casing . what software can do is to reduce speed.
Does titanium dissipate heat? although titanium remains strong at high temperatures, it doesn't easily dissipate heat, which can cause heat build-up in the metal.

Several days of optimization? That might actually use more battery during that period of time..

1 thing about Apple that they never improve is the battery life of the Iphone
I have an Android phone(2nd phone) that cost me less than RM1000 can last me till 1 day and half for light usage. But overall can last 1 whole day for extremely heavy usage
lol im pretty sure many disagree with you considering how much have battery improvements weve got over the years over the entire iphone product life cycle
but anyway to retort on your statement on below. its like youre comparing an entry level sedan car to a premium sedan car. both also brings you from A to Z the same but premium sedan can do it faster and more comfortable. and because of the more powerful engine and heavier build the premium have lousier petrol mileage compared to the entry level sedan. but does that mean the premium sedan sucked? nope
anyway its simple, for those people who can appreciate the premium phones use case, theyre willing to fork out monies to get that level. but for those like us who dont need those? just stick with mid range and theyre good enough, better for our wallets too

Then Apple can sell their powerbank at RM 999.
keep imagining lor
apple specs says my iphone magsafe only can get 15w wireless charging speed and qi wireless is only 7.5w, but my iphone 13 charges like 15 watts speed on my xiaomi wireless charging powerbank, very fast

battery life of iphones especially the plus or max version had been better than majority of big battery androids but they still keep complaining battery life isn't good on iphones like wut, first they won't use iphones anyways and second like wut again? maybe they will still complain even if the battery can last a whole year
