The absorbility of protein that described is called the Protein Digestibility-Corrected Amino Acid Score (PDCAAS). You can google on it coz it is real. The highest PDCAAS value that any protein can achieve is 1.0, indicating that the protein will provide 100% (or more) of all the amino acids required in the diet.
Which is what Nutrilite plan protein powder claim its PDCAAS score is 1.
But all in all, Whey protein and plant protein both are different la adui...
If you want to build muscle you will need whey protein...
If for normal daily health, then plant protein.
Recommended daily protein per day for adult is 0.8g per kg of your body weight.
So let's say your body weight is around 75kg, then 0.8 * 75kg = 60g. There you go, you will need average of 60g of protein per day.
If you aim for muscle, oops, you will need more protein.
2 hard boiled egg only contribute about 12g of protein, a good start nevertheless if you eat it as breakfast. Of coz if lunch and dinner you consume poultry and fish then you should be good.
Actually all these protein powder, don't care what ever brand is just to supplement / compliment on your daily protein intakes. So it really up to you to choose which brand you trust and comfortable with.
Anyway I bet that what I explain here is way more than your Amway friend explain isn't it?
this, much more accurate if DIAAS is used, especially when you get older you slowly get hypochlorhydria,
it's better to get high quality ones with high DIAAS score, real animal foods and less processed ones is the best
plant based ones tends to have lower DIAAS scores in comparison to animal products
