2 LELAKI DITAHAN TERLIBAT PERGADUHAN ANTARA GENG MOTOSIKAL DI DESARU

Bertempat di acara Desaru International Bike Week (DIBW) di Kota Tinggi Sabtu lepas, dua lelaki telah ditahan dipercayai terlibat dalam pergaduhan antara geng motosikal.
Menurut Ketua Polis Johor, Kamarul Zaman Mamat, dua lelaki tersebut berusia 30 dan 50 tahun telah ditahan di sekitar Kota Tinggi pada Ahad, semalam, di mana kedua-duanya mengalami kecederaan ringan.

Menurutnya, salah seorang daripada mereka telah menerima empat jahitan di kepala dan dirawat sebagai pesakit luar di Hospital Kota Tinggi.

Siasatan mendapati pergaduhan itu tercetus akibat provokasi antara geng penunggang motosikal dari Hell Riders, yang berpangkalan di California, Amerika Syarikat, dan penunggang motosikal tempatan, yang merupakan peminat kepada geng motosikal saingan Hell Riders.

Kamarul Zaman berkata, “Kita sedang menjalankan siasatan berapa ramai yang terlibat. Setakat ini, kumpulan antarabangsa dari Arizona, Amerika Syarikat dipercayai membabitkan antara 70 hingga 80 orang.”

“Mungkin ada cabar-mencabar antara kumpulan terlibat, bagaimanapun siasatan terperinci sedang dijalankan,” katanya dalam satu sidang media.

Beliau turut berkata bahawa seramai 350 anggota polis menjaga keselamatan dalam penganjuran DIBW 2023, sekali gus menjelaskan pergaduhan berjaya dileraikan dan dikawal oleh pihaknya sebaik pergaduhan tercetus.
