My friend using maxis archer c5v

He can't load lazada but youtube can on both Laptop connected via wifi, so called me ask for advice

I was trying to remote diagnose, here comes the fun part.

Anydesk was no good, it shows offline at his site, but TeamViewer works fine. So i ask him try to use the cable then it works fine for both anydesk and TeamViewer. And the lazada also can open

Once disconnected the cable and run via WiFi problem comes back again.

I was trying to turn off the IP v6 but can't seems to find it.

As i check network property i only see IP v6 was trying my luck.

So anyone face this before?

No other router to test on hand

check DNS and also if the host file have any entries to prevent you from loading the pages

If host file is mess up, will connected via cable still works?

he has not been assigned a ipv4 address.

off router, 2mim turn on

repeat until he got a ipv4 frm his isp

case solved

try open www.mynic.net can not

- off router and on back?
- try creating a new ssid?

if the hostfile is messed up then regardless wired or wireless it would not work and only exception is when VPN is connected and it will bypass the entries in hostfile

That's why didnt suspect the hostfile because it works on wired but not when on wireless.
