android to ios is simple n straightforward,i retain all of my data,doing it many times already...unlike ios to android,my experience is horrible especially whatsapp data,i lost years of chat backup twice,once during 2016 and recently last year when i opt to change my 13 pro to android,i lost whatsapp chat from 2017 until sept 2022...personal chat is ok but since i'm using same number for customer,all details lost just like that.

Weird. Cabled migration, right? My friend's S20FE had like 60GB of WhatsApp stuff. Took maybe 3 to 5 hours, IIRC.

Edit: Sorry, can't recall if the cabling was phone to phone or both phones were connected to their respective chargers.

my best bet get some paid app that might be able to help you. but i doubt it will help if you are moving to different OS platform.

Switch from android to ios

I don't even backup my previous chats on Whatsapp. Since my job didn't required on heavy whatsapp usage and most of the photos are considered trash after I have done my tasks.

Other than that, some of the important photos from whatsapp I already backup on Google Cloud or One Drive.

Which android phone to which iphone? How do you find the different app versions, apk from outside play store?

Tried multiple version end up I use wutsapper.. Apple have few version from their website then I also dl from apk pure but it seems also bit working

The best is buy a new sim prepaid for old whatsapp number, then change the WhatsApp number to new sim prepaid number, then add your old number in iPhone back into the group chat that you want.

I bought and used wutsapper some years back, before Move to iOS supported WhatsApp transfers. Moved from OnePlus 8T to iPhone 13 Pro Max, if I recall correctly.

The only issue that cropped up after the migration was that old chats were not indexed and searchable on my iPhone. Maybe that’s fixed now.
