Buy this, power it with a 5V1A (5W) charger/powerbank that's widely available and cheap,
the output will meet your 0.3a requirement.

It's automatic based on input power.

That's why I mentioned, use 5A1A USB phone charger.

Plenty old charger are this specs.

I use this charger to top up my bike's battery after parking the bike for months. I use a 50000mah power bank that can supply the max 18w for faster charging / top up.

You plug this into 5V1A charger for 5W, don't go above.
