went to Sunway Velocity last week, in the middle got some kind of expo selling mooncake.

All got Halal Jakim one.


But the thing is, ayam dont know which brand is gooding

So can you guys suggest?

I only like ping pei/snow skin mooncake. Not those baked version.
Filling is the classic red bean and white bean paste. No matcha matchi choco boba bobi cheezy cheezu viral crap people put in their overpriced mooncake.

Go buy red bean paste and eat with roti. Same taste.

Mooncakes are seasonal for about 1 to 2 months, so bakers won't apply JAKIM just to sell item that has 1 - 2 months shelf live and "PAS wont buy it anyway", After all, JAKIM approval process also take how long by the time....

Alternatively, you can look for bakery / restaurants that are halal certified or they sell regular bread halal certified then buy from them.

On the other hand, see 2feidei termakan vavi also still not dead yet. No need to paranoid.

those sold at malls r likely halal 1 already. nowadays no halal will lose the competition but no harm to check for logo or ask. all brands also ok 1 unless u r some sort of connoisseur or food critic. just go with 1 that feels fairly priced (i did not say cheap) to u and the promoter looks pleasant - lengzai/lenglui and pandai ayat2 u. next year u'll become wiser at picking which to buy.

they dont make, they just go factory oem with their logo. maybe better ingredients but definitely not worth the price if you really want eat. things different if you want it for gift or show face.
