Hi there. I've been riding bike since university days until now. Mostly normal bike. However, its been my dream to own and ride HD. The problem is I donno how to ride bike with clutches. I do understand it work just like manual car, and I have no problem driving manual car.

So the question is, anyone can recommend me a bike i can buy to practice riding clutch bike, before I buy HD? Last time my friend suggest me to buy SS, or yamaha sport, but i dont think its easy to find that now. Should be relatively cheap, just for me to practice everyday until I have the confident to ride and buy HD

TIA

you can just use the learning time while taking B full, considering you already have knowledge in driving manual car.. shouldn't be that hard for you to pick up motorcycle

but if you insist on getting one to build confidence, find used fz150 / ns200 / z250 at mudah, they should be good enough to make you learn how to use clutch in motorcycle

i wouldnt recommend the yamahas... their clutch is what was known as "clutch hidup" back in the day.... meaning u can actually use the bike without the clutch like stopping at red light in first gear n no need hold clutch.

suzuki RG Sports had "clutch mati" so its a full on proper clutch which will kill the bike if its in gear at a stop.

i think an FZ150 can get cheap now. so perhaps look in to that.

Good if you wanna ride on dirt road.
Not good if you wanna spend lots of time on the tarmac.

Them dirt bikes in their 21"/18" not nice on tarmac.

Depends on what you define as 'cheap'.

2010 ER6n about RM7k can get edy.

For about the same money, you can also get a newer 2019 Dominar 400.

Their advantage over kapcais is that these are actual B-Full motorcycles.

sorry i cant reply to all the comments, but thanks for your recommendation.

I think i will get fz150 or belang to practice, and at the same time i can use to run small errand, like going to mart or just strolling around.

Gotta give credit where credit is due. I didn't have a good experience depending on it as a mode of transportation, but it was a helluva bike for B-Full training. My wife would agree!
