QUOTE(Khan92 @ Sep 26 2023, 10:45 PM) So this is current Unipai gameplan: Those on newly walk in for swu will get 500 mbps with Rm 119 forever. Those already on swu this year tm will maintain the 500 mbps after 12 months with sms like "congratulations you are now enjoy 500 mbps with only Rm 119" since those on 300 mbps surely will be tak puas hati with this new offer. the current 300mbps swu3.0 plan has already been treated as 500mbps SKU, there is no option to upgrade to 500mbps package, only 800mbps or above. so yeah, swu3.0 users get their perpetual speed upgrade before fahmi announcement. QUOTE(totally_skint @ Sep 27 2023, 12:21 AM) So if RM119 formerly 300Mbps with temporary 500Mbps upgrade is now getting permanent 500Mbps, how much is actual 300Mbps cost? probably rm119 for new subscription throw rm30 tv pack or netflix basic if TM being generous.

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Sep 27 2023, 01:23 AM) So I guess the 500mbps RM119 is a real deal now. Now the only question is whether ALL or Certain TM points approve this deal. Also, everyone is switching to 300mbps getting upgrade to 500mbps. But can I (from 500mbps Turbo) switch to SWU 3.0 500mbps (no upgrade or downgrade)? So many questions to ask. I guess I have to take some time to visit TM point this week. you can mentioned to them you want to have hypptv tv removed, they may offer swu3.0 to you.

QUOTE(eugenecctan @ Oct 4 2023, 01:34 AM) Itis funny that most if not all think that SWU 3.0 has nothing to do with the current government. So TM self take initiative to give you discount for 300mb and free upgrade to 500mb + 6 months free? uhmmm swu3.0 is post-msap offering came earlier (for people who willing to be re-contract). can see most provider are offering selective loyalty program now. now we just wait for one big provider to make a big move, all the others will follow. QUOTE(keong8867 @ Oct 4 2023, 01:52 AM) I apply SWU 3.0 last month, do I get 500mbps permanent? How do I check it is likely to be 500mbps permanent. if you check unifi self-service portal, you might not having the option to upgrade to 500mbps plan. meanwhile the other package that currently have temporary speed upgrade in place have this option available. even if we are stucked with 300mbps speed, at the very least we didnt pay premium price for it thanks to that 6 month bill waive

QUOTE(Oltromen Ripot @ Oct 4 2023, 07:01 AM) the current prices on offer started in july. TM publishes RAO in august. so there is hope it's not MSAP-ed yet. TM is both wholeseller and reseller. they already enjoyed the savings earlier than other providers that was using their infra. there is no stopping for provider to produce a product without any profit.

people who not yet finish their contract can try apply for swu3.0 as well. my colleague who still have 11 month on his contract still can get swu3.0, there are other criteria they may considered like how long are you are subscribing to the TM service. my colleague were a loyal customer for more than 10 years.

QUOTE(#Victor @ Oct 5 2023, 11:23 PM) does TM open 100Mbps for VDSL (copper)? last time when subscribe was told 30Mbps is the maximum speed for VDSL, but the attainable reading shows it able to get 100Mbps+, wonder how the eligibility of speed upgrade offer is 30Mbps is only the max provided by TM [ attainable doesnt mean stable. please note that copper line degrade over time. let them upgrade first, if it is not stable/dc alot. you can always contact them to retune thr bandwidth.
