Went to TMPoint at Kuching. I told them my current contract expiring next week, any good deal? CS asked me back what deal r u expecting. Then ask them on SWU 3.0 300Mbps RM 119 deal. CS was shocked saying this is "internal" only. Anyways she helped to proceed with the request. Checked my unifi app status for my order ID. It still show my old 100Mbps, and not 300Mbps SWU... Is it a norm? This post has been edited by ineser: Oct 24 2023, 02:33 PM Attached thumbnail(s) nicktaylor liked this post

Darn the technician charged me RM 53 for changing fiber optic cable head and advise my signal is 29.95dB which is very high, helped me to tune down to 25dB which is more acceptable "range".
Got two fiberhome router. Use tmadmin username, even I change DNS, you still see it is still using tm's own DNS server. Any other "super" admin access to change DNS permanently? |

QUOTE(westlife @ Oct 28 2023, 04:25 PM) mine is 23.xx. that day the tm technican just came to troubleshoot my modem's prob. end up discovered that it was purely due to the power adapter's prob. after changed it, no more intermitten issue. damn, due to this, cannot change new modem. my case is lucky. the tm technican never charged me rm53++... he even helped me in the way, he just took a photo of my house with door closed and he just updated the report saying that i was not at home. but he also passed me a fibrehome power adapter that can replace the spoiled one. QUOTE(SwarmTroll @ Oct 28 2023, 06:00 PM) I was asking the technician if I need to change anything. Then he pull the fiber optic cable from ONT, used his small "tool" to measure the signal strength and told me my signal is quite bad, cant receive good internet speed. Now I can get full 500Mbps speed.
