Thanks. I think 100Mbps is too little for today's standard. laugh.gif
I guess I will ask her to proceed with that application then.

Still not too bad lah haha. Netflik recommends 100mbps 🤪

Anyone from Gobind era / turbo upgrade 500mbps upgraded to 800mbps have issue not configured properly at tm side?
*
Meeeee!!! I thought I was the only one 🥲.

Got the notification on MyUnifi that the speed has been increased. Rebooted router modem, waited 10 minutes nothing changed.

Live chat with TM and they said maybe the configured isn't complete yet but they confirm that I am already on 800mbps.

I am experiencing the same download/upload speed

From 300mbps plan.

Now upload is at advertised 100mbps
Download at is 370mbps max

Yes the new upload indicates it is at the new upgraded speed.

Dont know why the download speed is nowhere near 500mbps though.

I am using Ubiquiti USG Pro 4 for router, U6 Lite for Wifi, I get the same download and upload using Lan and Wifi.

Have anyone ever made an official complaint with TM yet? What was the response?

1. Test with a LAN cable first. If you are getting the speeds, then maybe your router doesn't have enough throughput.

2. Ensure you are testing on the 5GHz band.

3. Turn off any setting related to Quality of Service (QoS) in your router.

See if this helps. It's always a hit or miss with Wi-Fi.

Doubt so, I can’t remember who here but someone stuck a piece of paper into the ONU to pretend that it’s dead to get a replacement. FOC cuz ONU is literally free to them cuz of how cheap it is tongue.gif

I had to pay for mine in 2018 because of the Turbo Upgrade. Went from 50mbps to 500mbps. The old ONU could only support up to 100mbps (Fast Ethernet).

Where the fiber plugs in yes
Interesting, ONU should be FOC tho, maybe not for upgrade but 1 unit is only like RM10+ for TM from what I heard, next time if need change it’s most likely from the installer and not TM officially, keep an eye out whistling.gif

Yeah! Kena con la that time. Young and stoopid 😔😤.

I was just excited getting bumped up to 500mbps Hahaha.

Which model is yours exactly? They have a few iterations some being better than others.

300mbps should be fine. Wired, definitely fine.
