Before you call TM, try to replace that particular router / modem's adapter, as long as 12v 1A/2A adapter will do. See whether its adapter issue or modem/router issue.

Yes this is common issue, probably adapter component degraded. U can buy more backup adapter from shopee etc.

You may try your luck, maybe if within contract they'll replace for you foc. Or else they'll replace for you foc with 24 months contract extension.

FYI can try asking 100 still because BTU is TM property shall not extend contract for faulthy replacement

You can try contact TM first but many kena asked to pay RM53 etc then it is your time to stand firm tell them BTU is TM property everything is foc or you will bring to mcmc lo use mcmc tekan

Don't worry. Last time my BTU adapter spoilt, TM came to change for me foc. No on-site charges and, of course, no contract renewal. I was already out of contract at that time. Cos BTU is their equipment and responsibility.

Even though only adapter not working - the adapter died a few months before and I malas to report and was using my own - TM changed both the adapter and the modem.

Router warranty is 1 year only if not mistaken. Definitely won't FOC replace for you. Buy new n better router if too old.

Fiber modem belongs to TM. They will replace FOC for you.
